Congratulations to Rep. Jeff Flake on Voting No to Fund Useless War in Afghanistan

We are pretty mean to Rep. Jeff Flake here, so we need to thank him and congratulate him on voting "No" today to continued funding of the unwinnable, useless war in Afghanistan. He was one of only 12 Republicans to join 102 Democrats in saying no to President Obama and the dunderheads who created this misbegotten military misadventure.

Unfortunately, as good as he voted on this, Jeff Flake was in the minority. We're really happy to have him as our congressman if only for this one vote.

After our country has wasted nine years, more than a thousand American troops' lives, and billions of dollars in the useless, unwinnable and ill-conceived war in Afghanistan, we're not going to waste any kilobytes on discussing something that's been discussed ad nauseum.
