We are pretty mean to Rep. Jeff Flake here, so we need to thank him and congratulate him on voting "No" today to continued funding of the unwinnable, useless war in Afghanistan. He was one of only 12 Republicans to join 102 Democrats in saying no to President Obama and the dunderheads who created this misbegotten military misadventure.
Unfortunately, as good as he voted on this, Jeff Flake was in the minority. We're really happy to have him as our congressman if only for this one vote.
